When installing RESTORELIVE on a system that has an active antivirus program, you are prompted with a warning that a virus is attempting to infect your boot sector or master boot record (MBR). The setup process is interrupted. Because RESTORELIVE setup modifies the computer's MBR during setup, some antivirus programs mistake it for a boot sector virus. To avoid this, disable your antivirus software before installing RESTORELIVE, then re-enable it after the installation is completed or some anti virus software provides the option to go ahead modify the MBR.
